Our story
‘A Mother's Prayer Group’ was established in 2023 by a group of women looking for a community rooted in God's love. The initiative organizes biweekly prayer nights and joyful discussions centered around the Word of God. It was created so that mother’s can come together to pray for their children, grandchildren, families and local communities.
A little about the organizer
Mrs.Mary Bynum is the organizer of ‘A Mother's Prayer Group’. She was born and raised in Sierra Leone, where she was introduced to the Christian faith at an early age. Since moving to the US, she has remained deeply involved in God's work, bringing people closer to Him. As a mother, she understands the importance of putting God first in every detail of her family’s lives. She opened the discussion of a prayer group to a few of her close friends. The idea was welcomed and this was the beginning of ‘A Mother’s Prayer Group’.
